Charlee Zamudio - Artistic Director / Co-Owner (Ballet
Mistress & Instructor of Pointe, Modern, Lyrical, Jazz & Tap)
Miss Charlee has been a dedicated teacher at local studios for more than 11 years and just finished
her 4th year with her own studio. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from the acclaimed Barat
College Conservatory of Dance in Chicago with an emphasis in Modern, Ballet &Choreography.
Charlee studied Dance & Theatre 12 yrs prior to college. She has attended programs at Nashville
Ballet, Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Dontask Russian Ballet Company and Boston Ballet.
She also studied under the direction of Eileen Cropley from the Paul Taylor Dance Co., Various
Instructor’s from ABT, London Ballet and the New York City Ballet. Her Performance credits
include 4 yrs with the Barat Repetory Company based in Chicago, and Choreographer for YARD
Company. She choreographed for York H.S. recent musicals “Annie” and “Aida” She won the Best
Choreographer award at Faces of the Future. Charlee is the Lead Dance Teacher for the William
Penn Performing Arts Institute.

Romy Norris - Executive Director/Co-Owner
Romy has a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Western MD College. She has
more than 20 yrs experience working with parents and students as a teacher at local schools. Romy
studied dance at Central PA Dance Workshop and Penn State for 4 years.

Sara Brianne Smith - (Instructor of Musical Theatre & Acting)
Sara has taught acting and vocal music for 10 yrs in Philadelphia & locally. She earned her B.A. in
Communication/Theatre from Eastern University and continues classical voice, Linklater and
language studies. Her theatre and film credits include: Adrienne Theatre, Latern Theatre, and
Germantown Theatre Center. She has been involved in musicals with Spring Grove High School and
Acts of Kindness. She choreographed many award winning Pantomine, Novelty and Vocal routines.

Rolondo Nieves - (Instructor of Salsa & Hip Hop)
Rolando is originally from Brooklyn, NY. He has been dancing Salsa for 14 years and has taught
Hip Hop & Salsa for the past 6 years. He is a graduate of the William Penn Performing Arts
Institute and continues to expand his dance skills. The Latin Ballroom class will be True Salsa from
the Island of Puerto Rico.

Jean Sowers - (Instructor of Ballet, Preschool & Mommy /Daddy and Me.)
Jean has taught dance for over 20 years at local studios and Dream Wrights. As a youth she studied
locally & CPYB. We are pleased to have Jean join our staff.

Tiziana Myers - (Instructor of Ballet, Pointe)
We all wish Tiziana the best on Maternity leave. She will be back in Jan. Tiziana completed her
dance training in Italy and at CPYB in Carlisle.
