    Minishow Performances  2008-2009:

    Minishows

These are signed up for on company Bulletin Board. They are optional but it is assumed you will be able to make at least 50% of them, as
this is a great opportunity to practice groups in front of any audience.  (As well as sharing our talented students with the community) Some
minishows that are planned are listed below
    •        Sept 27, 2008  Silver Bullets Half-Time show-Rubies/ Diamonds
    •        Sept 27, 2008 Spring Grove Fall Fest (tentative)
    •        Oct 4th or 5th Women’s Show (tentative)
    •        Nov 11, 2008 -Veterans Day (possibly Vietnam production)
    •        April 25, 2009 Dancing in the Streets (Hanover PA)
    •        West Manchester Mall (TBA)
    •        Galleria Mall (TBA)
    •        North Hanover Mall (TBA)
    •        Shrewsbury Retirement Home (TBA)
    •        Plumwood Creek Retirement Home (TBA)
    •        Leader Heights Retirement Home (TBA)

Other minishows will be posted as opportunities arise check Bulletin board and company member mailboxes weekly. Usually we have 4-5
minishows in fall and more in the spring. The mall shows are crucial to attend because they are usually 2-3 weeks before competition and
include a lot of group numbers.

    Halloween Parade
It is assumed all members will participate. Charlee is planning to perform in the Hanover Halloween parade on Thurs October 30th .
Company members report to parade line at approx. 5:30 pm

Boscov’s Thanksgiving Day Parade --Tappers (Studio Event-invitational)
We received an invitation for our tappers to be a part of this special event in Philadelphia on the morning of November 27nd 2008.  This is
our 2nd year participating in this event!  We have filled out & mailed in our preliminary information for registration and will receive additional
information in late August.  There is a $25 registration fee for each individual. Tickets for  grand stand seats will be available on a lottery
basis for each registered dancer in the event.  This will be a televised event by Philadelphia Channel 6 ABC and should be shown on our
ABC network.  Practices would be on Sunday November 23th  4:00-5:30 pm at PA National Guard Armory in Philadelphia  and Wednesday
November 26st at 7:00- 8:30 pm and held at Philadelphia Museum of Art.  All dancers are required to memorize entire choreographed piece
between Oct 22 (when we received video) and Nov 23th.  Selected tappers include:  Dominique Norris, Heather Ruppert, Sarah
Luckenbaugh, Sarah Gunarich, Steph Snyder, Brittny Klinedinst, Alyssa Zelwalk. Abbi Cole, Brooke Mankert, Lexi Mankert and Nikki
Patterson  Additional practices for participants at the YARD should be expected in Oct & Nov. This piece may be practiced in Int 2/Adv Tap
class and BInt/ Int1 classes. Although not all BInt tappers are participating in the parade this year, learning this challenging routine is a way
to broaden their experience.  Usually we take our Int & Adv tappers to this event and BInt tappers can benefit from the process.
**** Please note dates above for practices have not been finalized these are approximations based on our experience last year. More
definite times and dates will be available in Aug-Sept

Educational Workshop—( Tentatively in March or April )
Charlee and Romy will be setting up a Trip to NYC to take classes This is optional but is strongly suggested for Intermediate & Advanced
dancers.  These classes would be probably about $18/ class. We would be taking 3-5 classes and possibly a show. Cost would also
include a hotel room $65/person estimated. More details to follow

    Recital— June 2009
Company will perform some selections as a part of the end of the year recital.  This may include a production number and/or some other
    selected group numbers
