The Pulse On Tour***NEW & OPTIONAL*** Jan 8-10 (Studio Event)
Atlantic City, N.J.
This is an Educational Touring Workshop. This event is open to any YARD student and graduates. You
do not need to be Company member to attend workshop. It would be similar in style to NYCDA but
there is no competition.
There is however time for each studio taking a minimum of 10 dancers to perform one number. Mia
Michaels is one of the Teachers and will be a Choreographer “Judge” for performances. It is not a
competition. There are no awards per se. It is optional but we need 10 to be able to perform.
Chaperones: will be responsible for driving to and from the event. We will be leaving Friday at 5:00
p.m. and returning Sunday evening. Chaperones will be responsible for driving and supervision of
dancers in the evenings. They will be responsible for driving and parking expenses. However, they
will not have to pay for their hotel room.
Adult Tag-alongs: Adults wishing to tag along to the event are welcome to as long as space allows.
NOTE: Intermediate I and II can attend this workshop as well.
Would you like to take a class from Mia Michaels from “So You Think You Can Dance”? We do need to
know ASAP who would be interested. Workshop fee is about $200 for the weekend + hotel costs (
estimated at $70/girl per weekend) There is a performance fee for that will be around $25)
Registration is beginning now so if we have ten-- those registration have to be sent in together to
perform.
